| Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep.

| It's Official... Almost.
The Canon website is showing a teaser ad, promoting the next generation of a mystery camera, about to be released. I think we all know (and the lack of a pop-up flash in the "eclipse" promo photo confirms this) that it's the Canon 5D mark II. Look for it to drop at Photokina in the next few days! Monday, by my previous "rumor" post's prediction, but as we now see, that rumor post may well be untrue, given that it incorrectly forecasted a pop-up flash on the new camera.

| Only thing is, he's calling it in the 3rd quarter of 2009. His theory is based on the charts of homebuilders, and the current state of the rescue efforts in place to revive the mortgage and banking industry.
I agree with him -- the bottom of this housing crash is not even close yet. If you look at the median listing prices in Los Angeles, you'll see that we're still in the very steep part of the drop. It hasn't even begun to slow down, and prices are down almost 40% from peak in lower end Los Angeles. Look around, and if you find a house you're passionate about, and don't mind losing some equity in the short term, then go for it. But I still insist that the best investor will wait for one more year at least. Save up your money now, and be rewarded soon enough!
